Text Box: Meyer Hideout, Inc. is a 501(c)(3)
Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation

This corporation has been formed for public purposes, to foster education opportunities for children and young adults in the arts, with specific focus on theatre, music, and the arts.

Currently located in Twain Harte, California and formed in 2004, this program includes a large summer-camp with a full musical theatre production known as “Summer Hideout”, a fall program “Rainy-Day Hideout”, and lastly, a winter program called “Hibernation Hideout”.

We have already seen many of our students grow and inspire others. The high ratio of returning members (between 80-85%) each year is also a very telling attribute to our success, as the returning members become more and more involved in the leadership and creation of the program.

Stemming from the summer program is the Performing Group, which 90% of the summer cast is involved in. The Performing Group has been asked to perform at various functions throughout the community - from community-sponsored events such as the Foothill Farmlands Arts Festival, and Sonora Regional Medical Center's Employee party to a privately-sponsored 3-week engagement as "the orphans" at Columbia City Hotel's 25th Annual Victorian Feast.
